Role overview

This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Tirana, Albania. The Cost Controller will oversee project budgets, review financial information, track and allocate costs, and produce clear and accurate financial reports. The role also requires the use of cost control systems, close cooperation with different teams to keep spending efficient, and active identification of opportunities to reduce costs while staying compliant with financial standards.

Key qualifications

• Solid knowledge of cost control and broader cost management methods
• Hands-on understanding of cost accounting and finance
• Strong ability to analyze data and turn findings into practical recommendations
• Prior experience handling budgets and preparing financial reports
• Careful, structured, and well-organized approach with strong problem-solving capability
• Professional background in a comparable role, ideally in a corporate or project-based setting
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is preferred
• Comfort with financial software and advanced MS Excel usage
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams
• At least 7 years of relevant experience
