Creative Designer

Role overview

EB Games Canada is hiring a Graphic & Web Designer for its head office in Brampton, Ontario. This role sits within the Creative Services team and focuses on turning ideas into compelling visual work that informs, engages, and motivates audiences across print and digital channels.

What you will do

• Partner with different internal teams, clients, vendors, and suppliers to shape creative ideas and develop a variety of materials, including web pages, emails, marketing assets, signage, and internal communications.
• Create original design concepts by hand or with design tools, making thoughtful choices around colour, typography, imagery, and layout.
• Oversee the full workflow for project materials, including design development, approvals, and uploading, while following internal standards and best practices.
• Build and refine graphics for a range of media using different software applications, ensuring the final output supports business objectives.
• Collect direction from managers and clients to understand project goals, maintain brand consistency, and ensure the finished work reflects the intended message accurately.
• Handle several projects at once, manage time effectively, and keep work moving from concept through to completion while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, respond well to feedback, and adjust work as needed.
• Identify ways to improve current processes, contribute fresh ideas, and help strengthen design capabilities.
• Keep internal design and asset databases updated and organized.

Experience and technical background

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of combined academic and professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. Working knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 is also required, along with strong communication, presentation, organization, and time-management abilities in a fast-moving environment.
