The Contribution You’ll Bring To This Role

The Cycle Counter will be instrumental in maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity at the Wellsburg facility. This role involves meticulously counting and monitoring product inventories to ensure alignment with declared lists and documents. Key duties include conducting reviews, measuring and weighing products, maintaining accurate records, organizing inventory according to established protocols, locating misplaced goods, and reporting any inconsistencies or damages. The Cycle Counter will also contribute to enhancing inventory procedures, supporting staff, and maintaining a clean work area.

What You’ll Do At Justrite

• Monitor and control inventory integrity.
• Develop and maintain a cycle count schedule based on ABC analysis.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Perform physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits, receipt audits, and reconciliations.
• Generate and maintain monthly reports on cycle count accuracy.
• Address and resolve inventory problems promptly.
• Document any damaged products.
• Create and maintain detailed year-to-date inventory transaction reports.
• Utilize an RF gun for planned and unplanned cycle counts to resolve shipping discrepancies.
• Adhere strictly to the Inventory Adjustment (IA) Policy.
• Collaborate with value stream managers to ensure accurate production and transfer processes.
• Undertake other assigned duties as needed.

Your Skills And Expertise

To excel in this role, a minimum of two years of experience in similar responsibilities is required. While not mandatory, APICS certification in CPIM (Certified Planning Inventory Management) is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is strongly recommended, and prior experience with MAPICS is considered a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with all levels of management. A process-oriented mindset with a high degree of attention to detail is crucial for success.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive base salary between $55,000 and $60,000 annually. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. Additionally, the role is eligible for an annual incentive plan tied to company and business unit performance.
