About the Role
Fortune Precision Machinery is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Entry / Junior Data Analyst to support a growing team. This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a career around data, reporting, and business insights.
In this position, you will help gather, prepare, analyze, and interpret data so the business can make informed decisions and improve performance. You will gain hands-on experience with analytical work while learning from experienced team members and using modern data tools.
Responsibilities
- Gather data from multiple sources, then clean, check, and structure it for analysis.
- Review datasets to spot trends, patterns, and practical business insights.
- Build reports, dashboards, and visual displays for internal stakeholders.
- Track KPIs and other business measures to support performance monitoring.
- Assist with data integrity checks and quality assurance processes.
- Create both scheduled and one-off reports for business needs.
- Work with teams across the business to clarify reporting and analysis needs.
- Help maintain databases and supporting analytical documentation.
- Contribute to data-led improvement initiatives and operational decisions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear, useful way.
Requirements
- Strong ability to analyze problems and think critically.
- Careful attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Capability to interpret data and explain insights clearly.
- Good organization and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and strengthen technical analytical abilities.
- Ability to work on your own as well as collaboratively with others.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a similar discipline.
- Recent graduates and candidates at the start of their careers are encouraged to apply.
- Internship, academic project, or other relevant analytical exposure is helpful but not mandatory.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of visualization, reporting, and database concepts is useful.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting methods is a plus.
