Job Overview
This position is built for people who want flexible hours, steady work, and the chance to grow within a fast-moving business. The role can suit a primary job, a second source of income, or a schedule that works around school and personal commitments. Team members may also have opportunities to move into leadership or management as the operation grows.
Growth and Inclusion
The franchise values diversity and aims to build a workplace where people’s different backgrounds and strengths are recognized and used well. Team members are encouraged to reach their potential in a supportive environment.
Core Duties
- Deliver food by car to customers within the assigned delivery area and bring orders to the customer’s door.
- Hand out flyers and door hangers as needed.
- Handle general team-member tasks inside the store, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, and preparing products.

New hires receive orientation and on-the-job training.
Communication and Order Handling
The role requires the ability to follow written instructions accurately and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers by phone and in person while taking and processing orders.
Skills and Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
- Ability to read maps, find addresses, and navigate the delivery zone efficiently.
- Comfort with difficult terrain, including multi-level buildings and other delivery locations.
- Ability to operate equipment and use a computer keyboard or touchscreen for orders.
- Strong basic math skills, including quick and accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to make correct change and handle monetary transactions.
- Good verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
- Quick hand-eye coordination and precise movements when working at speed.
Work Environment
Team members may work in changing weather, in areas with food odors and cornmeal dust, and in tight spaces such as walk-in coolers. Temperatures can range from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees or higher in other work areas. Some tasks involve hot surfaces and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands
The job involves standing for most tasks, short-distance walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting bulk deliveries, carrying ingredients and product, pushing or pulling tray dollies, and sometimes using stairs or ladders for maintenance or store tasks. Delivery work may require carrying pizzas and drinks while walking, climbing multiple flights of stairs, and making several deliveries in a shift.
Detailed Handling and Strength Requirements
- Bulk deliveries arrive at least twice a week and are unloaded with a hand truck.
- Deliveries can include ingredient and supply cases weighing up to 50 pounds and measuring up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
- Cases are often moved from the floor to shelves as high as 72 inches.
- Items such as sauce containers, dough trays, and other supplies must be carried over short distances.
- Tray stacks on dollies may need up to 7.5 pounds of force to push.
Sensory and Temperament Requirements
The role calls for strong phone listening skills, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, depth perception, the ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces, and the ability to work alone or with others under pressure while staying focused on quality and decision-making.
Additional Information
Delivery work includes transporting products by car, moving from the store to the vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer, and making deliveries across the designated area. Drivers may also need to navigate adverse weather while driving and delivering product.

Some duties may involve repeated tasks, direct interaction with people, analyzing information, and making judgment calls. The job may also require changing signs, cleaning walls, and doing other maintenance-related activities from time to time.
