Role Overview
The Facilities Manager will oversee the secure, compliant, and effective running of the site’s infrastructure, utilities, and facilities functions within a regulated medical manufacturing setting. The position is responsible for ensuring that all facilities activities support production, quality, and regulatory obligations, including GMP and ISO 13485, while also advancing continuous improvement, sustainability, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the facilities team, including hiring, interviewing, onboarding, training, performance reviews, discipline, and work scheduling.
- Oversee day-to-day operation of the facilities department.
- Act as project lead for new construction work and coordinate facility-related requirements with external contractors.
- Arrange and supervise heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance for offices and site facilities, and address issues as they arise.
- Support managers and supervisors with hazardous communication matters and keep the necessary records up to date.
- Respond promptly to support requests from other departments and work to meet their needs in a timely manner.
- Carry out additional related duties that help maintain the site and achieve safety objectives.
- Create and execute a site sustainability plan aligned with corporate ESG targets.
- Promote and lead Lean and Six Sigma improvement efforts across facilities operations.
- Manage external service providers covering HVAC, maintenance, utilities, and environmental services.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have an educational background and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least six years of experience in facilities coordination and maintenance.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
- Comfortable working with people across all levels of the organization and contributing as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of safety principles and safety-related matters.
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports accurately.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, especially with spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software.
