Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Food Scientist with specialization in sauces and dressings to join the research and development function. The role focuses on turning customer briefs, business needs, and market insights into practical, cost-efficient food products that can be scaled for production. You will work closely with teams across sales, marketing, manufacturing, suppliers, and packaging to move ideas from concept to commercialization.

What You Will Do

  • Develop products and applications from customer briefs and business opportunities.
  • Create new sauces and dressings that reflect current market direction and customer expectations.
  • Improve product economics through cost reduction, ingredient simplification, and process efficiency for both new and existing items.
  • Partner with sauce processors and manufacturing teams during trials and product launch activities.
  • Coordinate with ingredient suppliers to support sourcing and product development work.
  • Work with packaging suppliers to confirm packaging fit, shelf-life needs, and product compatibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing on innovation projects and with sales on product performance and customer use cases.
  • Ensure products meet FSSAI rules and applicable category-specific food standards.
  • Contribute to process upgrades, product line extensions, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Lead workstreams related to new product development, commercialization, and process enhancement.
  • Keep complete records for formulas, trials, technical specifications, and product assessments.
