Freelance Presentation Designer

Role Overview

Mindrift is hiring a seasoned Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where the focus is on building refined storytelling workflows within a hybrid AI-and-human setup. In this freelance, part-time remote role, you will work alongside Tendem Agents that take on repetitive work, while you contribute the judgment, subject-matter understanding, and formatting expertise needed to produce polished, high-impact presentations.

This opportunity is well suited to creative professionals with practical experience in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven presentation work.

Role Focus

This freelance assignment is part of the Tendem project. The work centers on persuasive storytelling and strong visual structure. You will turn dense information, raw data, and narrative inputs into clear, attractive slides and one-pagers that communicate complex ideas effectively. Typical tools include PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

Core Duties

• Create executive-level pitch decks and polished one-pagers customized to the intended audience.
• Convert complicated information into clean visual stories with minimal clutter and a well-planned hierarchy.
• Improve slide quality with custom typography, refined motion, and consistent visual treatment.
• Maintain a premium style that blends corporate professionalism with creative presentation design.
• Review every deliverable carefully for alignment, pacing, formatting accuracy, and brand consistency before handoff.

Selected applicants will need to complete the required qualification steps before starting work. Once approved, you can contribute on a flexible schedule that fits the project needs.

Requirements

• Preferably 2 or more years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a similar creative discipline is considered an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote for creating advanced, dynamic, and well-animated decks.
• Advanced ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom visuals and layouts.
• Capability to transform layered data and information structures into simple, clear, and visually compelling narratives.
• Advanced typography and animation skills for creating elegant, premium-quality outputs.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
• Experience producing premium corporate-style presentations with a creative edge.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to visual precision.
• Ability to work independently and solve design challenges without constant supervision.
• A CV that includes a portfolio link showcasing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work is mandatory; applications without a relevant portfolio will not be reviewed.

Project Time Expectations

During active phases, the expected workload is around 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and may vary depending on project needs; it is not a fixed guarantee.

Compensation

Contributors on this project can earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on expertise and work pace. Pay may differ across other projects based on scope, complexity, and required skill level.
