Role Overview
EY is looking for a GhostDraft Developer with 2 to 6 years of experience to support document automation and development work in Kolkata. The role calls for practical expertise in GhostDraft along with the ability to design, maintain, and enhance business-critical document outputs.
What You Will Do
- Work hands-on with the GhostDraft platform to build, configure, and improve automated document solutions.
- Create, update, and manage templates, forms, and document types while ensuring the output meets business and regulatory standards.
- Design and develop complex documents in GhostDraft and keep existing templates current as business needs change.
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate content requirements into workable document solutions.
- Apply knowledge of system development, document generation logic, and database integration to support automation workflows.
- Handle structured data sources and configure document automation processes for smooth generation and delivery.
- Coordinate with technical teams to integrate document solutions with other systems without disruption.
- Diagnose and fix document generation defects, formatting issues, and automation slowdowns.
- Provide continued support and improvements for document management workflows.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of the GhostDraft tool, especially GhostDraft Studio.
- Proven ability to build, optimize, and troubleshoot document automation workflows.
- Experience creating and managing templates and other document assets.
- Good grasp of Java scripting.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in automation tools and document generation processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with other document automation platforms is an advantage.
- Background in insurance or financial services is preferred.
- Studio certification is a plus.
- Overall professional experience of 2 to 6 years, including direct GhostDraft work.
