Role overview
This is a permanent, full-time HR advisory opportunity based in Richmond, Victoria. The position sits within the People and Performance team and is suited to an HR professional with 2 to 3 years of experience who wants to take on a hands-on operational advisory role in the utilities sector. The job is fast paced, highly stakeholder-focused, and centred on day-to-day people support and ER-related execution.
What you'll do
- Act as a first point of support for internal stakeholders on a wide range of people and employment matters.
- Guide managers through issues such as performance management, workplace conduct, extended absence, and health-related concerns.
- Help prepare pay and remuneration recommendations and contribute to remuneration and performance review cycles.
- Support workplace culture initiatives across diversity and inclusion, safety, employee engagement, and mental health.
- Use company policies and frameworks to balance commercial needs, business risk, agility, and legal compliance.
What we're looking for
We are looking for an HR generalist or ER professional with practical experience, strong judgement, and the confidence to work closely with leaders. Experience in contact centres or retail operations will be an advantage. A relevant degree or diploma, such as HR Management, is preferred. You should understand performance management systems, be able to spot risks quickly, and offer compliant solutions while building trusted relationships across the business.
