Key accountabilities

  • Shape and deliver a full People strategy that supports rapid global expansion and keeps workforce planning aligned with business priorities.
  • Review the current HR setup end to end, covering structure, pay, compliance, hiring processes, and performance metrics, and identify where AI-led automation can improve outcomes.
  • Create and roll out scalable people processes for onboarding, probation, performance management, career progression, engagement, and exit management.
  • Put in place a structured, metrics-led recruitment approach, including hiring workflows, interview design, manager support, and candidate evaluation methods.
  • Develop HR reporting dashboards and KPIs to track hiring speed, quality of talent, retention, organisational health, and workforce performance.
  • Design clear grading, compensation, performance review, and OKR frameworks that support scale and employee development.
  • Oversee global HR operations across multiple regions, working effectively with payroll partners, Employers of Record, and local compliance needs.
  • Evaluate, introduce, and improve HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, and workflow automation tools.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a strong People & Talent team, while coaching managers on leadership, hiring, feedback, and team growth.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7+ years of experience in HR or People Operations leadership, including having built an HR function from scratch in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
  • Prior exposure to FinTech, Crypto, high-growth SaaS, or another fast-moving multi-region technology business is required.
  • Evidence of helping an organisation scale quickly, ideally from around 50 employees to 200+ employees.
  • Strong background in managing globally distributed teams and international hiring/employment models, including EOR arrangements and cross-border compliance.
  • Ability to combine long-term people strategy with hands-on delivery of HR processes and systems.
  • A data-led approach to people management, using metrics, dashboards, and analytics to improve performance and support decisions.
  • Proven recruitment leadership, with the ability to grow teams quickly without compromising quality or cultural fit.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive influence skills, with confidence working closely with CEOs and senior leaders.
  • Experience bringing in HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to raise operational efficiency.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian, plus intermediate English or higher.
  • Comfort working remotely across European time zones under a B2B contract.
