About the Role
Zawaya Albina Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to support its Riyadh team. This role suits someone with hands-on exposure to HR administration, employee relations, hiring, payroll support, and Saudi government HR systems, along with a solid understanding of Saudi Labor Law and local compliance requirements.
Role Details
Position: Human Resources Specialist
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline
Experience: 2–5 years of HR experience in Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities
- Handle everyday HR activities, including employee files, personnel records, contracts, attendance tracking, leave administration, and payroll coordination.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to transfers, contract renewals, and exit procedures.
- Administer and track key government platforms such as Qiwa, Mudad, Muqeem, and GOSI.
- Keep employee data current and accurate across internal HR systems and external government portals.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and review benefits, deductions, and other entitlements.
- Ensure HR practices remain aligned with Saudi Labor Law, Saudization rules, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Draft and maintain HR reports, policies, procedures, workforce records, certificates, and formal employee documentation.
- Address employee questions and support routine personnel and administrative needs.
- Provide guidance to management and department leaders on employee-related matters.
- Protect the confidentiality, accuracy, and orderly storage of all HR records and documentation.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- At least 2–5 years of HR experience within Saudi Arabia is expected.
- Working knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and HR-related government systems is essential.
- Prior experience in employee affairs, recruitment, payroll, and general HR operations is needed.
- Strong planning, communication, and time-management abilities are important.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools is required.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is needed.
