About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Analyst who can support day-to-day business operations by researching information, working with data, preparing reports, and contributing insights that help guide decisions. This position suits someone with strong attention to detail, solid reasoning skills, and the ability to turn raw data into clear, practical takeaways.
In this role, you will handle data collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation across different sources. You will also assist with reporting, improving processes, and evaluating business performance. The opportunity is designed for someone who wants to strengthen analytical, technical, and business capabilities in a professional setting.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, structure, verify, and analyze information from several sources.
- Create reports, dashboards, presentations, and concise business summaries.
- Spot trends, patterns, irregularities, and improvement opportunities in datasets.
- Assist with business research, market studies, and performance reviews.
- Track key performance indicators and operational measures.
- Contribute to forecasting, planning, and strategic decisions.
- Update and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Run data quality checks to keep records accurate and consistent.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand needs and provide analytical support.
- Record methods, procedures, and findings clearly.
- Help with process improvement efforts using data-backed recommendations.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking, numerical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Very high attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and analysis functions.
- Strong ability to research and collect relevant information.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and explain insights in a simple, understandable way.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working alone as well as with a team.
- Interest in learning new analytical tools and business concepts.
Preferred qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Prior internship exposure, academic projects, research work, or earlier analytical experience will be an advantage. Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or similar tools is helpful, along with exposure to reporting, business intelligence, or performance analysis. Understanding of data visualization and statistical analysis is also a plus.
