Role Overview

This position is for a Lead Engineer based in Bengaluru. The role centers on guiding engineering work across the full software delivery lifecycle, with a focus on Java and Spring-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Steer the team through the design, build, testing, and release of sophisticated software products developed with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Work closely with teams across functions to gather requirements and shape technical plans for microservices-based solutions.
• Maintain strong code quality through reviews, while also handling debugging and root-cause analysis for issues affecting performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Broaden technical capability across supporting platforms and tools, including database systems, message queues such as Kafka, and cloud environments like AWS or Azure.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT Services and Consulting, specifically with a strong foundation in Java development.
• Hands-on proficiency with the Spring framework for enterprise application development.
• Experience contributing to large, complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional coordination.
• Overall experience level expected for this role is 8 to 30+ years.
