Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha for an experienced Lead Painter. The person in this role will take charge of painting work from preparation through final finishing. Responsibilities include readying surfaces, preparing paint mixes, and applying coatings with both traditional methods and modern techniques such as spray painting. The role also requires supervising other team members, looking after tools and equipment, following safety practices, and ensuring the finished work meets or exceeds client expectations.

What you will do

• Prepare surfaces properly before painting to ensure a clean, durable finish.
• Mix paints and coatings to the required specifications.
• Carry out painting and finishing work using manual and spray application methods.
• Oversee and support team members during daily work activities.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards consistently.
• Deliver completed work that aligns with quality requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications and fit

• Strong hands-on experience with paint application, including surface preparation and finishing.
• Good knowledge of painting and decorating, with attention to detail and visual quality.
• Understanding of coatings, materials, and how they are used in different situations.
• Ability to perform spray painting with accuracy, efficiency, and a high-quality finish.
• Leadership skills to direct, coordinate, and supervise a team.
• Commitment to working safely and following relevant regulations and industry norms.
• Willingness to work on-site in Doha, Qatar.
• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
