About the Company
Smartfinn Solutions is a specialised support team that works behind the scenes to assist Australian brokers with loan application processing. The organisation provides structured training and strong day-to-day guidance so team members can build practical knowledge of Australian lending processes and loan workflow management.
The company is looking for people based in or near Kochi, since a local office is expected to open soon. The role will begin as remote work and is planned to move into a hybrid setup after the office becomes operational.
Role Overview
This position focuses on supporting the end-to-end preparation and submission of loan applications, including documentation handling, client communication, CRM updates, lender follow-ups, and settlement support. The role also includes coordination with internal team members and assistance with office administrative work when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client needs and prepare preliminary loan product comparisons, communication drafts, and loan structuring details.
- Gather information from clients using fact-finding sheets and request the supporting documents needed for the application.
- Sort, organise, and tag incoming documents, then verify whether they are suitable for the loan file; if not, obtain replacement documents from the client.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in CRM systems.
- Prepare bank valuations, pricing requests, and loan application forms for submission.
- Coordinate with clients to collect signatures on required forms and then lodge the application with the lender.
- Track progress with lenders, follow up regularly, and help resolve any rejections or issues that arise.
- Monitor applications through to settlement and support every step needed to keep settlements on schedule.
- Assist teammates with administrative tasks related to the office.
- Support the mortgage broker with research as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating clearly both in person and over the phone.
- A helpful, solution-oriented attitude.
- Well organised, able to juggle multiple tasks, and capable of prioritising work effectively.
- High level of accuracy and close attention to detail.
- Enjoys problem-solving and working through challenges.
- Prior exposure to loan processing will be an added advantage.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and should preferably be located in or around Kochi/Cochin. The role is intended for full-time candidates who can begin in a remote setup and later transition to a hybrid arrangement when the office opens.
Work Arrangement
The job starts as remote work from Kochi and is expected to shift to a hybrid model later.
