Role overview

AirTrunk is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to support its operations in Singapore. Reporting to the Maintenance Service Manager, this role works closely with the wider operations group to help keep a hyperscale data centre running reliably, safely, and in line with customer service commitments.

The position is part of a multi-disciplinary environment involving managers, technicians, and external vendors. The coordinator will help plan, manage, and oversee both scheduled and reactive maintenance work on the assigned site, while contributing to high uptime and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Service Manager across all areas of data centre operations, with the aim of maintaining 100% uptime and meeting customer SLA requirements.
  • Work with managers, technicians, and third-party vendors to plan, supervise, and manage planned and reactive maintenance activities at the nominated site.
  • Support asset management delivery, including planning for maintenance, condition monitoring, and lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain and update asset-related information in CMMS/IWMS platforms, including task specifications, drawings, fire engineering reports, records, wastewater, air quality, water quality, and utility efficiency data.
  • Coordinate work orders and administrative activities for technicians, engineers, suppliers, and other on-site stakeholders.
  • Champion site reliability and contribute to reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Create and manage work orders and access requests for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Update 52-week plans and continually review maintenance and asset management plans.
  • Keep CMMS records current by uploading service reports, logging faults and root-cause analysis information, and updating asset details.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance and work order workflows.
  • Provide support to other sites during busy periods or when required.
  • Check that all data entered into systems is accurate and of high quality.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Gather data for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, building, fire, health, safety, and other local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Help with general site administration.
  • Use CMMS and related software to support inventory control for tools, equipment, and consumables.
  • Use system data to improve efficiency, produce customer reports, reduce maintenance costs, strengthen work order control, extend equipment life, and support data-led maintenance decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, ideally within a critical environment or data centre setting.
  • A degree or technical qualification in a relevant discipline such as electrical, mechanical, or MEP engineering.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CMMS platforms such as ServiceNow, Maximo, Si7, Tririga, Archibus, or similar systems.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus the ability to work with large datasets using BI tools and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with local and national regulations, codes, guidelines, and permit processes.
  • Working understanding of ITIL and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Good knowledge of data centre operations and operating procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical colleagues.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
