About the Role
MEPCO Electro Mechanical Works LLC is looking for a seasoned Mechanical Project Engineer to support its construction projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position calls for someone who can manage mechanical works end to end, keep delivery aligned with schedule and budget goals, and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee plans for mechanical systems within construction projects so that work is completed on schedule and within approved budgets.
- Work closely with design and site execution teams to make sure mechanical services are integrated smoothly with the overall project.
- Review technical drawings, project records, and material specifications, and prepare documentation as needed.
- Carry out site visits and inspections to ensure safety practices and quality expectations are being followed.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide practical engineering support across all phases of the project.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to keep project goals, expectations, and deliverables aligned.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically on high-rise residential or commercial developments.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related mechanical services.
- Ability to use design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and comparable tools.
- Well-developed leadership and project management capabilities.
- Good familiarity with UAE or GCC codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
