Using Meituan’s mature front-warehouse plus instant-delivery model, it aims to give overseas customers a safe, high-quality, and convenient fresh grocery shopping experience.
Role overview
The Membership Manager will own the design and execution of a full membership program, from pricing and benefits to positioning and retention. This role is responsible for building a compelling membership proposition that supports both customer value and business efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Create and develop the end-to-end membership structure, including pricing, benefit design, and overall value proposition.
- Build differentiated benefits such as free delivery, exclusive offers, and similar value-adds while balancing customer appeal with cost efficiency.
- Plan and run subscription growth initiatives, including free-trial design, user onboarding, and paid conversion funnel improvement.
- Track and improve renewal performance, churn, and member lifetime value through retention-focused programs.
- Develop retention tactics such as renewal rewards, re-engagement efforts, and win-back campaigns.
- Stay alert to market growth trends, social trends, and promotional opportunities, and turn relevant opportunities into practical campaigns and user experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- English communication skills are required for work.
- Native Arabic speaker.
- Background in the internet industry is preferred.
- Experience in membership operations, integrated marketing, product operations, or subsidy strategy is an advantage.
- Strong communication and project management abilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution.
- Fast learner with strong execution, resilience under pressure, accountability, and solid project follow-through.
