Overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Pre-Sales Network Engineer to become part of a Technical Sales & Solutions group during a period of business expansion and digital transformation. The position centers on shaping and presenting enterprise networking and security offerings, supporting the entire sales journey, and serving as a reliable technical point of contact for customers across a range of sectors.

The chosen professional will partner with sales colleagues and clients to interpret requirements, build customized network and security designs, and make sure the recommended approach supports business goals and follows current industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers to collect business, technical, and operational needs for network and security projects.
  • Create and present enterprise networking solutions covering LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and security architecture.
  • Assist sales teams during client discussions, technical workshops, presentations, and solution reviews.
  • Develop technical proposals, solution blueprints, Bills of Materials (BoQ/BoM), Statements of Work (SoW), and responses to RFP/RFQ documents and tenders.
  • Run product demos, proof-of-concept implementations, and technical assessments.
  • Work with vendors and partners such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Aruba to build efficient solutions.
  • Advise on network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud networking, and data center design.
  • Support a clean transition of proposed solutions to implementation and operations teams.
  • Keep current with new networking and security technologies as well as market developments.
  • Act as a dependable technical advisor who helps strengthen customer engagement and long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pre-Sales Network Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Network Engineering with strong client-facing responsibilities.
  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN.
  • Practical exposure to enterprise networking and security products from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, or comparable vendors.
  • Prior experience preparing technical proposals, designing solutions, and responding to RFPs/RFQs and tender submissions.
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred for suitable candidates.
