Job overview
Anotech is seeking a Network Support Associate Engineer to help keep essential network services running in a demanding, multi-vendor operations setting. The role is centered on supporting day-to-day network stability, handling incidents, and assisting with migration and maintenance work.
Key responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock operational support, including participation in on-call schedules.
- Track network performance and address alerts and incidents using NMS monitoring platforms.
- Assist with network migration tasks such as configuration updates, validation steps, and cutover execution.
- Investigate and resolve issues in both older network setups and active live environments.
- Carry out service requests and change activities in line with formal operational procedures.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors during planned maintenance activities.
- Keep operational documentation current, including network diagrams and records.
Profile required
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IP/MPLS networking and practical experience supporting live production networks. Familiarity with routing and MPLS technologies, as well as working knowledge of equipment from multiple vendors, is important. The role also calls for someone comfortable with service migration workflows, complex cutovers, and occasional onsite or field support.
Additional details
This is a full-time, long-term position intended for a multi-year engagement. The work environment includes 24x7 operations support, hands-on exposure to critical network migrations, and onsite support whenever required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IP/MPLS network environments.
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP, along with MPLS technologies.
- Practical experience with multi-vendor network platforms, including Cisco, Huawei, and Juniper.
- Exposure to L2/L3 VPN services and network service migration procedures.
- Ability to support active network operations and manage complex cutover activities.
- CCNP certification, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.

The position is based onsite in Doha, Qatar.
