You should have practical plumbing experience, ideally gained in a commercial or facilities environment. Experience with both scheduled and reactive maintenance is important, along with the ability to diagnose faults and repair a range of mechanical and plumbing systems. A solid understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements is also needed. You must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
A relevant plumbing qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.
Security and eligibility
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance. Some roles within the organisation are affected by national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions, so eligibility may depend on place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency history.
