Role overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for a Private Equity Associate. The engagement is designed for candidates who can commit between 10 and 40 hours per week and are comfortable handling sensitive deal materials in a fast-paced investment environment.

Compensation and work arrangement

Pay is set at USD 100 to 144 per hour. The role is fully remote and based for candidates in the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

Carry out in-depth due diligence and assess confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) along with the supporting deal documents.
Prepare, edit, and improve Investment Committee (IC) memos and Board Decks to help guide decision-making.
Work through public filings, financial statements, and detailed transaction documents to support investment analysis.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to track progress and spot issues or mistakes early.
Handle confidential information with a high level of care, accuracy, and discretion across the deal process.

Candidate profile

Applicants should bring solid experience in private equity, or a blend of private equity and investment banking, at the Associate or Analyst level.
Experience should include reviewing public filings, working on M&A or financing transactions, and building CIMs/SIMs and due diligence work products.
Strong capability in creating and refining IC memos and Board Decks is important, especially when presenting complex material clearly.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills are needed to produce concise, persuasive content for different audiences.
A meticulous, highly organized approach is essential, particularly when juggling several projects at once.
