Role Summary

This position is a full-time hybrid Procurement Manager role based in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, with some flexibility to work remotely. The role centres on overseeing purchasing activity, building productive supplier partnerships, handling contracts, and making sure goods and services are sourced efficiently. The successful candidate will also use data-driven thinking to improve procurement decisions and strengthen wider supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and compare suppliers to support informed sourcing decisions.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate contract terms.
• Maintain effective working relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Manage procurement processes for goods and services from request through delivery.
• Take ownership of contract administration and ongoing contract performance.
• Use analytical insight to identify savings, improve efficiency, and support supply chain strategy.

Required Background

• Hands-on experience in supplier assessment and procurement operations.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation and contract management.
• Strong analytical capability for reviewing costs, supplier performance, and supply chain information.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to manage professional relationships well.
• Experience in retail or global sourcing would be advantageous.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
