Role Overview

MongoDB is hiring an Associate Recruiter/Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team in support of the Sales Go To Market (GTM) business unit. This function spans Direct Sales, Partners, Scales Growth, Renewals, RAM, Professional Services, and other related areas, and the role is expected to support a wide range of GTM positions across India.

The team is seeking a recruiting partner who can think strategically, approach sourcing creatively, tell the employer story well, and help both candidates and hiring leaders succeed in a fast-moving hiring environment. Candidates should be based in Gurugram, Bangalore, or Mumbai for this hybrid working setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with hiring managers at the intake stage to define the search approach, separate must-haves from preferences, and shape effective job descriptions before a role goes live.
• Own the end-to-end hiring process for assigned GTM roles in India, from kickoff through offer acceptance and transition to onboarding.
• Create and run sourcing plans for both active candidates and passive talent across important GTM talent segments.
• Generate candidate pipelines through outbound sourcing, referrals, market mapping, and collaboration with internal teams.
• Align closely with hiring teams on interview panel structure, role competencies, process speed, and prompt feedback loops.
• Advise hiring managers on interview quality, candidate experience, and disciplined decision-making.
• Coordinate debriefs and offers with hiring managers and stakeholders responsible for approvals.
• Use hiring data and market insights to shape recruitment strategy, pipeline strength, and closing plans.
• Keep recruiting systems accurate and up to date, including requisitions, candidate stages, feedback, and approvals.
• Represent MongoDB as an employer brand ambassador in the India talent market.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 1 year or more focused on GTM hiring.
• A minimum of 2 years of in-house recruiting experience.
• Proven sourcing ability using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search methods, CRM/ATS platforms, and market research.
• Track record of building talent pipelines beyond candidates who are actively applying.
• Experience hiring across India; additional regional market exposure is considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience managing several requisitions at different levels simultaneously.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
