Role overview

This senior individual contributor role leads end-to-end recruiting for Advisor, Partner, and Direct Client searches. The position is accountable for running several searches at once, keeping the process moving, and consistently delivering strong candidate and hiring outcomes. It is a highly client-visible role that calls for polished communication, sound business judgment, and the confidence to advise clients throughout the hiring journey.

As a recruiting partner, you will help clients make informed decisions by sharing market intelligence, explaining recruiting best practices, and guiding them toward efficient, successful hires.

Primary responsibilities

  • Own and execute multiple concurrent searches from intake through placement.
  • Hold discovery conversations to understand client needs, job expectations, and the ideal candidate profile.
  • Source both active and passive talent using targeted outreach, networking, and creative search methods.
  • Screen candidates thoroughly to evaluate experience, fit, and alignment with the client’s requirements.
  • Submit candidates who are well matched to the role and the client’s culture.
  • Act as the main contact for assigned searches and maintain prompt, professional communication.
  • Run biweekly client meetings to review progress, share market insight, and agree on next steps.
  • Advise clients on job descriptions, compensation, title alignment, talent availability, and recruiting best practices.
  • Explain transferable skills, industry comparisons, and candidate evaluation considerations.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure the scheduling and follow-up process runs smoothly.
  • Prepare both candidates and clients for interviews to improve conversation quality and outcomes.
  • Support offer creation, communication, and negotiation discussions.
  • Work with urgency and accountability to move searches to successful placement.
  • Track placement and revenue goals and keep ATS and recruiting records accurate and current.
  • Take ownership of results and address search challenges proactively.
  • Join weekly one-on-ones with the Director of Recruiting and participate in team meetings.
  • Share insights, hurdles, and best practices with peers to support consistent recruiting quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent relevant experience is acceptable.
  • 5 to 10 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Background in direct hire or retained search is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing and closing multiple searches at the same time.
  • Strong client relationship skills with a consultative, professional approach.
  • Experience handling full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and offers.
  • Ability to manage several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to a high-quality experience for both candidates and clients.
  • Comfort with direct conversations, challenge resolution, and setting clear expectations.
