Remote Project Manager

Role Overview

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex technical programs remotely. The position requires working core EST hours while collaborating with teams across multiple regions and countries.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Guide large-scale technical initiatives from planning through execution in Agile environments.
• Oversee multi-country Salesforce Commerce Cloud rollouts and coordinate work across several workstreams.
• Manage program-level change readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and training coordination.
• Use Jira and Confluence extensively for sprint planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, reporting, and documentation.
• Create and maintain Gantt charts for programs involving multiple teams and geographies.
• Communicate effectively with executive, technical, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay involved in both strategic decisions and detailed technical/functional work when required.

Required Experience and Expertise

• PMP certification is required.
• At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs in Agile settings.
• Minimum 3 years of direct hands-on work with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware).
• Demonstrated success leading global Salesforce deployments rather than only single-instance implementations.
• Strong command of SFCC Business Manager, the SFRA framework, and Salesforce OMS.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
• Advanced use of Jira and Confluence for delivery tracking, coordination, and documentation.
• Experience building and updating program schedules and Gantt charts for complex, multi-region efforts.
• Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce certifications such as B2C Commerce Admin, Developer, Platform App Builder, or related cloud certifications.
• OCM credentials like Prosci, CCMP, or an equivalent certification.
• ScrumMaster or another Agile certification.
• Working familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience handling localization, data residency, or regional compliance issues in CRM and eCommerce programs.
• Prior experience working with Salesforce implementation partners or system integrators.
