Role overview
Queensland Police Service is seeking a Roster Clerk to join the Holland Park Division in a role focused on administrative support for the Officer in Charge. The position centres on preparing staff rosters and handling related office duties that help the division run smoothly.
Key duties
- Prepare and keep staff rosters up to date in coordination with the Officer in Charge and team management, ensuring they align with budget, industrial, and operational needs.
- Track unplanned leave patterns and escalate relevant trends to the Officer in Charge or manager.
- Support special service administration, including invoice processing and reconciliation of returns.
- Keep divisional training records current and monitor learning requirements for all staff members.
- Maintain equity-related obligations and associated budgets in line with the relevant industrial instrument.
- Process correspondence, statistics, and related returns according to approved procedures, while preserving required records.
- Advise employees on matters relating to industrial arrangements and enterprise bargaining agreements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes, working with colleagues, supporting quality initiatives, and helping implement agreed changes.
