Role overview
This is a full-time equivalent entry-level sales advisor opportunity in central Nottingham with immediate start availability. The employer is a long-established sales and marketing business seeking people who are keen to learn, build on their abilities, and gain practical experience in a customer-facing environment.
The position centres on representing non-profit clients at events and retail campaigns. You will help drive customer acquisition and raise brand awareness while maintaining a professional and positive experience for the public.
From day one, the client provides training, access to daily development sessions, and the chance to learn from experienced customer-facing professionals. As you progress, you may also be invited to contribute to workshops, support skills development activities, and take part in wider team projects, depending on performance and business needs.
What the role involves
The work is focused on direct engagement with customers on behalf of charity or non-profit clients, using face-to-face conversations in event and retail settings to support outreach and brand representation.
Candidate profile
The client is open to applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, including recent graduates and people transitioning from sales, marketing, retail, hospitality, waiting staff, tourism, events, care, call centres, or other customer service roles. Prior experience is not required.
This opportunity is well suited to people who want to gain confidence, learn new skills, and grow in a long-term customer-facing role.
Availability and suitability
Applicants must be available for a full-time equivalent schedule of 4 or 5 complete working days per week, Monday to Saturday.
The role is not suitable for candidates who are still in school, college, or university, or for current international students.
Training, development, and rewards
The company offers client-led training, daily upskilling invitations, and practical learning around customer engagement, communication, and brand representation. Eligible team members may also have access to networking events, recognition experiences, team socials, and international travel opportunities linked to rewards and recognition.
Pay includes a daily brand awareness fee when representing a client for a full day, along with commission and additional financial incentives. Payments are made weekly.
