Role summary
Currys is seeking a Sales Manager for its Liffey Valley store in Clondalkin, South Dublin, Ireland. This is a permanent, full-time position within a retail environment focused on helping customers find the right technology and delivering excellent in-store service.
The role sits within a large team and is suited to someone who enjoys fast-moving retail, team leadership, and improving store results through strong coaching and commercial awareness.
What you will do
- Coach team members so they can confidently guide customers toward products that best match their needs, no matter how they choose to shop.
- Lead an engaged sales team by recognising individual strengths, identifying growth areas, and supporting personal development plans.
- Motivate colleagues to put customers first while also working toward sales and profit targets.
- Build energy and interest around new product launches by helping the team show customers how the latest technology can solve real needs.
- Look for practical ways to improve store performance and share those ideas with the wider team.
What the role requires
- Management experience in a comparable sales-led business of similar size.
- Strong coaching ability, a practical hands-on leadership style, and genuine interest in helping people build confidence and progress in their careers.
- A history of spotting commercial opportunities within a department or store to drive higher sales.
- Confidence in leading a team, along with a friendly and approachable manner with both colleagues and customers.
- Willingness to keep learning about the latest technology.
