About the Company
Shift by MicroAGI pays everyday workers to record short videos of tasks they already perform in their regular jobs, such as work in kitchens, workshops, construction sites, bakeries, and warehouses. Those recordings help train the next generation of AI and robotics. The company has already paid out more than 5 million USD to over 25,000 workers across 15+ countries and is now expanding throughout Germany, targeting any business where practical, hands-on work is done, from workshops and kitchens to production and repair.
Role Overview
As a Sales & Operations Associate, you will help build the company’s local network of small businesses across Germany. Your work will involve visiting businesses in person, introducing the opportunity to their teams, and getting them signed up so they can earn extra income through the Shift app. This is not a traditional sales role: the focus is on showing businesses and their employees a new way to get paid for work they already do every day.
What You Will Do
- Visit small businesses in person, focusing on places where manual skill matters, including manufacturing, plumbing, electrical work, automotive services, construction, bakeries, kitchens, repair shops, cleaning teams, warehouses, and similar operations.
- Explain the earning opportunity clearly and handle questions or hesitation directly on site.
- Register business owners and their teams, distribute the recording headsets, and support them while downloading and setting up the app.
- Follow up to make sure new operators successfully complete and upload their first recordings.
- Track your outreach, sign-ups, and active operators, and report back on what works in the field.
- Share practical feedback so the team can improve messaging and focus on the right businesses.
What We’re Looking For
- You live in Germany.
- You are comfortable approaching strangers and local businesses in person, and you do not get discouraged by rejection.
- You communicate persuasively and warmly, making a new concept easy to understand and building trust quickly.
- You can work independently and manage your day in the field without close supervision.
- You are organized enough to keep track of leads and consistently follow up on onboarding.
- You have reliable transportation and are ready to cover your local area.
- Previous experience in door-to-door or outbound sales is a plus.
- Speaking one or more of the following languages is an advantage: Turkish, Arabic, English, German, Vietnamese, Hindi, or Urdu, as these help you connect with diverse business owners across Germany.
- Existing contacts in hands-on trades, or a good instinct for such businesses, is also a plus.
