About the role
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to work on fit-outs and furnishing projects across Delhi NCR. The role is based in Noida, Delhi, or Gurugram and involves leading interior design assignments for high-end residential, retail, showroom, office, and institutional spaces.
Role overview
The position calls for an experienced design professional who can manage projects from concept to execution, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver drawings and specifications within schedule and budget. You should be comfortable handling multiple projects independently while guiding the team and supporting client communications.
Key responsibilities
- Bring strong experience in interior design and architecture for premium residential, retail showroom, and office projects.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and control projects according to scope, timelines, and client budgets.
- Handle several projects on your own, prepare individual plans, and ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate project goals clearly to the team and lead implementation through execution.
- Prepare presentation drawings, tender drawings, and GFC drawings for interior design, architecture, and fit-out work.
- Present concept designs to clients within the agreed timeline.
- Develop creative design ideas, elevations, and concept options based on client briefs.
- Coordinate effectively with clients and maintain clear professional communication.
- Create 2D and 3D designs and prepare specification sheets for each item or product.
- Build and maintain a drawing library for different industries, customer segments, and office types.
- Check that designs are practical and usable during prototype development and confirm strength and functionality.
- Prepare designs using Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, and other applicable 2D/3D tools.
- Brief the prototype manager on the design and support the prototype development process end to end.
- Work out BOM and BOQ during the prototype stage.
- Support the factory director in preparing customer proposals.
- Review drawings related to retail, office fit-outs, and interiors.
Desired background
The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in retail/commercial and luxury residential interior design and architecture. A background in B.Arch, B.Des., or a diploma in interiors/architecture is preferred, along with strong command over design software and project coordination.
