Senior Program Manager / Coordinator

Role Overview

Red Carrot is hiring a Senior Program Manager/Coordinator to act as the lead contractor representative on a federal communications engagement. In this role, you would be empowered to speak and make decisions on behalf of the company for day-to-day contract matters and serve as the main contact for the client.

This is a senior-level remote position with approximately 10% travel to Washington, DC. The opportunity is contingent on contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily contract performance so that all deliverables are completed on schedule and meet required standards.
• Act as the primary operational contact for all routine contract issues on behalf of the contractor.
• Appoint and support a backup contact to cover absences, with the required written designation submitted to the Contracting Officer.
• Share updates on project status, risks, and potential opportunities with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Coordinate and oversee project activities with a national reach.
• Ensure operations continue during government shutdowns unless the Contracting Officer Representative gives different instructions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Background in administrative and professional support for projects with national scope.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication ability for presenting risks, opportunities, and status updates to varied stakeholder groups.
• Experience working in, or supporting, environments tied to federal government contracting.
