Role overview

Tricel is seeking a Site Crew Member / Production Assembler to support the assembly of water tanks and the installation of attenuation systems to the company’s quality expectations. The role is primarily site-based with customer work carried out across Ireland, and it also includes the opportunity to build experience in panel production for sectional tanks at the Killarney headquarters.

At the time of advertising, installation work is active nationwide, with most assignments taking place in Dublin. This means the successful candidate may spend much of the working week there. The position offers the chance to join a long-established and expanding organisation with room for development.

Key responsibilities

• Travel throughout Ireland to assemble water tanks for customers in a prompt and efficient way, including overnight stays on some weeks.
• Be willing to move between departments to develop a broader understanding of the company’s products and processes.
• Work toward agreed targets and deadlines.
• Carry out instructions from supervisors accurately.
• Follow all health, safety, and PPE requirements, and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses immediately.
• Work in line with quality expectations, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Apply lean and 6S workplace standards consistently.
• Complete training assigned by the company.
• Prepare and complete required paperwork.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

Skills and experience

• A full driving licence is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction would be a strong advantage.
• Previous product assembly experience is beneficial.
• Comfort working in a physically demanding environment is important.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets is valued.
• Good punctuality and time management are essential.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary.
• A Safe Pass is required; an active Safe Pass would be an advantage.
