Site Reliability Engineer / Linux Platform Engineer

Role overview

This position is for an SRE / Linux Platform Engineer supporting a low-latency Linux environment for an elite FinTech client in Singapore. The role blends Linux systems engineering with site reliability responsibilities, with a focus on automation, scalable deployment, and reliable platform operations across private and public cloud environments.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated solutions that support deployment at scale.
• Work across both project-based initiatives and day-to-day operational support.
• Improve reliability and efficiency by automating repetitive platform tasks wherever possible.
• Support Linux-based infrastructure in low-latency environments.
• Contribute to platform engineering activities across private and public cloud setups.

Core technical requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux.
• Practical knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming ability in Python.

Preferred experience

• Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, or Bicep.
• Understanding of disaster recovery practices.
• Familiarity with block or blob storage.
• Experience in high-performance computing environments.

Additional information
