Supply Chain Analyst

Position summary

This role supports supply portal ordering, manual order processing, order tracking, follow-ups on appointments, and reporting. The analyst will also investigate and interpret gaps or mismatches in inventory and sales information.

Key responsibilities

The position involves accurate and timely handling of forecasted orders, purchase orders, and related changes. It also includes reviewing pallet weight and truck load capacity, keeping detailed variance reports current, confirming supplier order acknowledgements and delivery schedules, and monitoring inbound shipments so appointments are met and trucks are received on time. The role requires maintaining supplier portals, resolving system-related issues, using computer applications to keep all key records updated, and coordinating with Operations to ensure inventory levels are recorded correctly.

Required experience and skills

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or GED along with at least 2 years of data entry experience. Strong Microsoft Excel ability is essential, including the use of formulas such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP. The job also calls for the ability to work independently, apply business math, review large datasets accurately, stay highly organized while managing many inventory items and SKUs, and juggle multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Preferred background

Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of data entry experience. Familiarity with planning tools such as Blue Yonder, SAP, or comparable systems is an advantage, as is experience in the food, beverage, or beer industry.
