Team Lead, Operations

Role overview

The role centers on managing shift activities from a learning and operations standpoint, especially in fulfillment center environments where many processes are manual and involve a large associate workforce. The Team Lead is expected to guide associates so that customer expectations are met through standard work practices, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key duties

• Oversee day-to-day shift operations with a focus on learning and execution.
• Handle inbound and outbound functions.
• Understand job step instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
• Track associate productivity, quality, and safety, and provide coaching where needed.
• Monitor process queues and escalate issues through Andon when required.
• Carry out daily 4M and 5S audits for the assigned workstations.

Basic qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong spoken, written, and reading fluency in English is needed.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools is required.
• Working knowledge of Excel is required.

Preferred background

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing setting, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
