Traffic Manager

About the role

IC Ictas Construction is an established global infrastructure company with more than 50 years of experience delivering major projects worldwide. The company is looking for an experienced Traffic Manager to support an upcoming highway project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

What you will do

• Create and carry out traffic management plans that fit the project requirements.
• Design temporary traffic setups such as diversion routes, warning signs, and safety controls.
• Maintain safe and continuous traffic movement around and through the construction zone.
• Work closely with local authorities and other project stakeholders to coordinate traffic-related activities.
• Spot traffic risks early and put suitable mitigation measures in place.
• Make sure all traffic management work stays on track with the project timeline and budget.
• Oversee subcontractors and site personnel to ensure traffic control measures are properly implemented.
• Prepare and submit daily as well as weekly traffic progress reports.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience handling traffic management for highways, infrastructure works, or large construction projects.
• Prior exposure to international projects, ideally in the Gulf region.
• Good understanding of traffic control systems, road safety requirements, and signage standards.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and compliance expectations.
• Strong ability to manage teams and coordinate work on site.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Must be open to working outside the home country.
