Role Overview
Join a globally recognized logistics organization and contribute to afternoon warehouse operations in Singapore. This role is central to coordinating a range of in-building activities, with coverage across dispatch, delivery change requests, COD handling, and same-building internal deliveries. It is a permanent, fully on-site position.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the afternoon cycle for sorting and loading, ensuring the process runs smoothly.
- Check damaged items, repack them when needed, and complete follow-up actions for building-related damage cases; some on-site inspections may be required.
- Manage pick-ups and deliveries for internal customers within the same building.
- Support night dispatch activities, including delivery change requests, self-lodge processing, and sorting undeliverable parcels.
- Help ensure afternoon and evening export shuttles depart on time and that no shipment volume is left behind.
- Follow up with customers on undelivered parcels so they can be re-attempted for delivery.
- Carry out warehouse scanning tasks whenever required.
- Act as backup support for the PM Assistance Supervisor during absences.
- Take on ad hoc duties such as self-lodge and self-collect tasks, and provide onsite coverage when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Working knowledge of dispatch operations in Singapore.
- Comfort using computers and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Capability to handle parcels weighing up to 20 kg when required.
- A disciplined, dependable approach with a strong work ethic.
- Clear communication skills for dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Professional email and phone manner, along with a customer-focused attitude.
Work Schedule
This is an on-site role with a 5.5-day work week, including alternate Saturdays. Working hours are 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM from Monday to Friday, and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays.
