Overview
This role sits within the Corporate & Commercial family in Doha, Qatar. The Analytics Specialist supports the digital function by working with data from collection through to analysis and presentation, helping teams uncover patterns, trends, and practical insights that inform better decisions.
What you'll do
- Support the marketing team with clear, evidence-based insights that highlight trends and help guide decisions.
- Study customer behavior and market movements using both business and non-business data, including website activity and traffic patterns, then turn those findings into practical recommendations.
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to build focused dashboards for marketing and digital marketing performance tracking.
- Partner with stakeholders such as the Head of Digital to agree on analysis goals, shape data plans, and improve accuracy and efficiency in processes.
- Help define and deliver the organization’s data analytics approach so decisions are increasingly driven by data.
- Collect data from multiple sources, clean and prepare it, and apply suitable analytical methods to protect quality and integrity.
- Use statistical techniques to assess KPIs, measure the effect of initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Prepare reports and presentations that explain findings and recommendations to internal teams, brands, and external partners.
- Carry out any additional related duties assigned by the Head of Department.
What we're looking for
- High School Qualification, Vocational Qualification, Diploma, or an equivalent credential, together with at least 5 years of relevant job experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification, together with at least 4 years of relevant job experience.
- Creative thinking with the ability to develop practical and innovative ideas.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work clearly with customers, colleagues, and business partners.
- Good awareness of market and industry developments, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Ability to interpret data and understand trends in markets, industries, and customer behavior.
- Experience using analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, and D3.js.
