Role Overview
This is an entry-level Assistant Media Planner position for a recent graduate who is excited by advertising, media, toys, gaming, entertainment, and consumer culture. The role supports the creation and execution of integrated media campaigns for major brands while building hands-on exposure to planning, reporting, optimization, and client support.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice President, Client Partnerships and the wider media team to help deliver strategic, data-led campaigns across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Media planning and strategy support
- Contribute to media plan development and campaign recommendations across television, social, video, display, programmatic, influencer, and retail media channels.
- Use audience, market, and competitor research to inform planning decisions.
- Help structure campaign data, insights, and historical benchmarks to support optimization recommendations.
- Take part in brainstorming discussions and share strategic ideas for client work.
Campaign execution and reporting
- Support campaign launch coordination, delivery tracking, and end-of-campaign wrap-up tasks.
- Organize performance data and prepare client-facing summary reports.
- Review campaign metrics to spot trends, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain reporting trackers, pacing sheets, and live campaign status updates.
Client and internal team support
- Assist the Vice President, Client Partnerships with daily account and project needs.
- Build PowerPoint decks, meeting materials, and internal documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, media partners, and vendors when needed.
- Help keep timelines on track and make sure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Media Studies, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in media strategy, television and digital advertising, and data analysis.
- Well-developed organizational ability and close attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle several projects in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
Preferred Background
- Prior internship exposure in advertising, marketing, media, analytics, or a related area.
