About the roleKPMG India’s Infrastructure and Climate Advisory practice within DAS is expanding quickly and is looking for professionals who want to contribute to meaningful change. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support work across infrastructure sectors and help public- and private-sector organizations achieve better outcomes for society and business. The team serves as a Centre of Excellence for KPMG’s global practices, advising clients on shifting policy and regulation, commercial and business risks, and strategic decisions related to major infrastructure and capital projects.This position covers a broad range of infrastructure areas, including transport, energy, digital infrastructure, and social infrastructure. The client base includes public bodies, infrastructure asset owners, project developers, large corporates, contractors, equity investors, and financiers. The role is based in Gurugram, with collaboration across Mumbai and Bengaluru offices, and requires working closely with leaders across functions to support internal and external engagement.ResponsibilitiesAssist senior team members across the full lifecycle of infrastructure engagements, including strategy, development, and performance work for clients in government, public sector, corporates, institutional investors, and infrastructure developers.Prepare and structure reports covering topics such as organizational policy, market assessment, market sizing, business planning, feasibility analysis, business case reviews, and capital investment planning.Help create thought leadership material, white papers, and perspective notes that strengthen market insight and sector understanding.Support global infrastructure advisory teams with business development activities such as proposal writing and pitch preparation.Carry out research, distill findings into clear insights, and build presentation materials for client-facing deliverables.Independently manage relationships with key stakeholders across multiple member firms.RequirementsPostgraduate degree or MBA from a reputed Indian or international institution.Professional certifications relevant to the role are welcome, though they are not compulsory.Between 1 and 3 years of relevant strategy experience gained in corporate environments, consulting, or public sector organizations.Hands-on exposure to at least one infrastructure sector, such as transport, oil and gas, broadband, real estate, or utilities.Understanding of infrastructure asset lifecycles and how they influence strategy and operations.Ability to work with strategic planning and operating frameworks to assess market trends, spot opportunities, and shape project optimization approaches.Strong analytical ability, including data analysis, risk evaluation, market research, and recommendation development.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with strong storytelling and presentation-building skills for senior stakeholders.Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Visio is useful, and experience with Gen AI-based tools will be an added advantage.Additional informationThe role is positioned in Gurugram, with collaboration expected across KPMG’s Mumbai and Bengaluru offices.No stipend or salary range was specified in the source.
