About the role

Einstein Bros. Bagels has been making fresh bagels every day since 1995, with a focus on serving great breakfast, creating a positive atmosphere, and supporting team members with a schedule that respects life outside work. Store locations close at 2 PM, so this role is designed to avoid late evenings and night shifts.

Role overview

The Baker is one of the earliest team members in the bakery and plays a central role in preparing the products that define the brand. This position typically starts very early, sometimes as early as 3:00 AM, and involves keeping bagels and pastry items ready for each shift while helping maintain smooth store operations.

What you will do

• Prepare bagels and related bakery items to keep product available throughout the shift.
• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case so displays stay full and appealing.
• Support guest service by assisting with order taking and sandwich preparation when needed.
• Help maintain high standards for food and beverage quality.
• Keep the store environment clean, safe, and organized.
• Work as part of a team to create a welcoming customer experience.

What we are looking for

• You should be at least 18 years old.
• You need to handle several tasks at once and stay effective in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• You must be available for variable schedules, including early mornings and weekends, depending on business needs.
• You should be able to complete a background check where allowed by local, state, and federal law.
• A valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred; it is only required at certain locations and you must meet company driving requirements where applicable.
