Role overview
This position sits within a large global logistics organization and focuses on supporting brokerage customers with timely, accurate service. The Brokerage Admin is the initial contact for brokerage-related questions, helps manage ongoing customer relationships, and works with internal teams to make sure requests are handled and closed efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Handle and track both internal and external customer queries, then follow through until resolution.
- Explain regulatory requirements in a clear way while supporting customers through their requests.
- Present a professional image at all times and contribute to strong customer relationships.
- Work with account managers and overseas partners to understand customer needs and process requirements.
- Monitor shipments for critical customers to help ensure clearance happens on time.
- Coordinate with internal teams on shipment declaration activities.
- Compile, prepare, and produce reports and documents when needed.
- Take on other duties and assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
- Minimum education of O Level or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
- Knowledge of Singapore Customs regulations.
- Comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good spoken and written English; ability in a second language is an added advantage.
- Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
- Able to stay effective in a busy, fast-moving, and high-pressure environment.
- Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach.
