Beyond Bank Australia is seeking a Business Analyst to join its PMO team in Perth on a national full-time role. The position is designed for someone who can support complex projects, work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and use data-driven analysis to test assumptions and measure business benefits. What you will do

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will help deliver complex initiatives that create clear, measurable efficiencies for the business. The role involves working across change and project management frameworks, engaging technical teams, business leaders, subject matter experts, and frontline staff, and turning business needs into practical project outcomes.

  • Work within the organisation’s change and project management frameworks.
  • Run stakeholder consultations, workshops, and meetings to collect business information for requirements gathering and process modelling.
  • Draft project scopes, business requirements documents, request-for-proposal inputs, business cases, and other supporting project materials.
  • Build benefits models to demonstrate measurable strategic improvement.
  • Assess specifications and business cases prepared by other teams for possible projects or improvement opportunities.
  • Support implementation activities and transition completed work into business-as-usual operations.
  • Assist Project Managers and the PMO with timeline and budget estimates.
  • Prepare progress and issue updates for the Project Sponsor.
  • Work with Project Sponsors to resolve issues as needed.
  • Create process maps and logical data models.

About the ideal candidate

You are organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. You have a strong grasp of banking and finance, a solid foundation in business analysis, and the confidence to build productive relationships across both business and technical teams. You should also be comfortable challenging assumptions in a respectful way and developing practical, creative solutions.

Experience in business process improvement, familiarity with BABOK methods, and confidence in leading workshops and balancing multiple priorities will be important in this role.

Technical and professional strengths

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, and Visio for documentation and collaboration.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Effective communication across functional and technical groups.
