About the Role

What You'll Do

• Work directly with stakeholders to understand what they need from reports and data outputs.
• Create detailed report requirements and specifications that are accurate, easy to follow, and aligned with business goals.
• Convert complex business needs into clear and practical report designs.
• Own the testing process for newly built reports to make sure they are correct, complete, and match the agreed specifications.
• Perform quality checks to find and fix issues or inconsistencies in reporting results.
• Set up and apply reliable testing approaches to improve the dependability of reporting solutions.
• Record current workflows, business processes, and systems to identify improvement opportunities and meet regulatory quality assurance needs.
• Partner with stakeholders to build and maintain thorough process documentation.
• Coordinate with business teams to understand and address their reporting needs.
• Support clear communication between technical and non-technical teams so projects move forward successfully.
• Spot opportunities to improve how reports are developed and tested.
• Apply best practices to make reporting processes more efficient and effective.
• Manage and coordinate reporting-related tasks within projects, while keeping delivery on schedule and maintaining quality standards.
• Share regular progress updates, blockers, and opportunities with project stakeholders.
• Review data trends and patterns to provide insights that support strategic decisions.
• Use advanced analytical methods to pull meaningful insights from different data sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a closely related area.
• At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: report specifications and testing, business analytics, process documentation, quality assurance, technical writing, or business operations.
• Background as a Business Analyst with strong focus on report specification development and report testing.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and diagramming tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Visio, or similar software.
• Familiarity with testing methods and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to interpret complex or technical documents, including laws, regulations, safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
• Understanding of agile/scrum practices and how business analysis fits into them.
