Business Development Manager

About the Role

This position sits within a fast-scaling affiliate marketing agency that partners directly with premium advertisers and publishers across several verticals. The team operates with a nimble setup and close access to leadership, and they are seeking a commercially sharp Business Development Manager who can grow the partner network, build valuable strategic relationships, and manage those relationships at a senior level.

Scope of the Role

The Business Development Manager will work across a broad mix of lead generation verticals, including Home Improvement, Debt Consolidation, Loans, Insurance, Medicare, and Education, along with Nutra, E-commerce, Sweepstakes, Casino, and Dating campaigns. In coordination with advertisers and publishers, the main objective is to broaden the network, bring in the right partners, and grow volume.

Responsibilities

• Find, approach, and onboard high-value publishers and strategic partners.
• Develop durable partnerships and strengthen existing business relationships for long-term scale.
• Negotiate commercial arrangements, open new business opportunities, and launch fresh campaigns.
• Work closely with the founders to spot and execute high-growth initiatives.
• Represent the company at major conferences and networking events around the world.
• Track partner performance and identify ways to improve volume, ROI, and profitability.
• Keep up with market shifts, new traffic sources, and emerging opportunities in the industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in affiliate marketing, particularly in sales-oriented Affiliate Management or Business Development roles.
• A strong network of active contacts within the affiliate marketing space.
• Experience working with quality traffic sources and direct publishers; strong lead generation background is preferred.
• Practical experience with Everflow, Affise, or comparable affiliate tracking systems.
• Strong data-driven understanding of performance metrics such as CPA, CPL, RevShare, EPC, and ROI.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with full fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Comfort with direct outreach, building rapport quickly, and creating new business relationships.
• Ability to work independently, own the pipeline, and stay focused on outcomes and execution.
