Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Role overview

AJP Patrimoine is looking for a part-time remote Business Intelligence Analyst to turn raw data into insights that inform both strategic and day-to-day decisions. What you'll do

• Gather, examine, and interpret data from a range of sources to support decision-making.
• Create, update, and manage dashboards and reports that track business performance.
• Monitor key metrics and highlight trends, patterns, and areas that need attention.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and shape those needs into technical BI solutions.
• Suggest data-driven improvements based on analysis and observed trends.
• Maintain high data quality and help keep datasets accurate and reliable.
• Document workflows, processes, and analytical methods clearly.
• Support the ongoing improvement of data pipelines, reporting processes, and BI tools.

Requirements

• Strong analytical ability, with experience interpreting complex datasets and turning findings into practical recommendations.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling for designing and maintaining structured data environments.
• Experience working with ETL processes to combine, clean, and prepare data from multiple systems.
• Working knowledge of BI and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, along with SQL for querying and reporting.
• Sharp attention to detail, solid troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time arrangement.
• Clear communication skills to present technical insights to non-technical audiences and produce well-written documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Data Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Exposure to financial services, asset management, or a similar industry is a plus, though not required.
