Role overview
Uniting is seeking a full-time Care Worker for its aged care home in Taralga, New South Wales. This is an on-site position offering pay of up to $35.98 per hour, plus superannuation, applicable penalties, and non-profit tax benefits. The role suits both qualified carers and people who are not yet qualified but are open to training.
What you will do
- Deliver day-to-day care, companionship, and emotional encouragement to older residents so they can maintain independence and a better quality of life.
- Support personal care routines, including showering, hygiene, dressing, mealtime assistance, and help with mobility.
- Assist with medication and basic wound dressings.
- Encourage and support participation in community-based recreational and social activities.

Who should apply
- Applicants ideally hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification.
