Role overview

This is a full-time Local P&D Flat Deck Driver position based at the Sparwood, BC terminal. The work follows a four-days-on, four-days-off rotation, with shifts beginning at 6:00 AM. Occasional flexibility in availability may be needed.

What you will do

You will handle local pickup and delivery work, complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logs using an electronic logging device, and make sure freight is properly secured for transport. The role also involves working closely with customers to meet their needs promptly.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is independent, dependable, and able to communicate clearly. A Class 1 licence is required, along with two years of flat deck driving experience. You should be physically fit, have good customer service abilities, and be familiar with the local area. Experience with electronic log systems is also important.

Compensation starts at $43.83 per hour. The position includes benefits such as short-term and long-term disability coverage, profit-sharing, and other benefits.
